    Lounge Pistol has been selected to play the Oil City Boonstock Band Wars in Edmonton on Thursday June 2nd! Oil City Roadhouse is located at 10736 Jasper Avenue Northwest. The doors open at 7:00 show at 7:30! Make your way out to support The Pistol!

    Lounge Pistol will be rawkin’ Buds on Broadway in Saskatoon on June 11th!

    Lounge Pistol’s new single Dyin’ for Nothin’ is being spun nation wide and is currently in the top 80 singles on the Mediabase Active rock charts!
    Lounge Pistol will be opening for Our Lady Peace in Lacombe for Alberta’s Own Independent Festival on July 16th in Lacombe Alberta! Stay tuned for many more summer festival announcements!

    Lounge Pistol heads to Fort MacMurray to rawk Reckless Nightclub May 13th and 14th!

    Lounge Pistol’s song, In the City, was selected for the Sask Music In-Tune Compilation CD that will be distributed to some major music festivals this year including the CMW’s, SXSW, NXNE, and WCMA’s! Also, Lounge Pistol will be featured in the Saskatoon Star Phoenix and the Leader Post in Regina!

    2010 Recap:

    The year started out with a bang as we hit the studio to record Lounge Pistol’s debut self titled album with some fantastic musicians including Graham Templeman, Earl Pereira, and Brad Taylor. We recorded the 10 songs in 10 days of January! The album dropped in April and the touring began!

    Lounge Pistol performed over 60 shows through 9 months of touring. (Porno) Al Morrison, Drew Aubut, and Jason Arcand (the original members of “Who Drew a Porno”) along with Dean Person are now all official members of Lounge Pistol and have enjoyed rawkin’ the West from BC right through Saskatchewan and there is no stopping us now!

    Lounge Pistol released two singles to radio; “Shades of Chivalry” peaked at #84 Mediabase Active-Rock reaching a major market audience of 60,000. Also “Shades” was ranked #83 Top-100 of 2010 at CKLM The Goat. The single received 2300 spins on 22 stations. “I’m Not Ready” has peaked #73 Mediabase Active-Rock with reaching a major market audience of 80,000 and both singles are still receiving their fair share of spins nationwide!

    We are looking forward to a wicked year of keeping the train rolling! We have been co-writing new material for a forthcoming album that totally kicks ass! Look out for the new tracks being performed at our upcoming shows! This year will be a huge year for the Pistol! Thanks for all your support and Happy New Year to all!

  • Happy New Year from Lounge Pistol!

    January marks Lounge Pistol’s 1 Year Anniversary!  It has been one hell of a year indeed!   And to mark the occasion;   Lounge Pistol Rawks Amigo’s January 8th with the incredibly talented Val Halla and Regina’s own Ink Road!  Doors at 8pm!

    Some of Lounge Pistol’s highlights from 2010 include recording LP’s debut untitled album, relentless touring that stretched across Western Canada; a first single (Shades of Chivalry) that was spun well over 2000 times across the nation on commercial radio; and a 2nd single (I’m not Ready) that busted into the Mediabase top 100 Active Rock Singles and topped out at #72!  Not bad for the 1st year outta the gate!   And all of this, is largely in part due to you and your unconditional support!  I would like to thank each and everyone of you and I look forward to seeing you in the New Year!

    Lounge Pistol’s 3rd single from the self titled album will be coming soon to radiowaves near you!
